.... "The difficulty in getting New York’s legal cannabis market off the ground comes during a challenging time broadly for the business of weed. An exchange-traded fund that tracks the field, ticker MJ, has lost 90% of its value in the past five years.

“Legal marijuana reminds us of other disruptive investment ideas, such as electric vehicles, autonomous driving and space exploration,” Jessica Rabe, co-founder of DataTrek Research, said in a client report last month. “They all need time"....
