Latest Barron's article quoting DataTrek co-founder Nick Colas: ....."And tech could continue to benefit if trade with China continues to be an issue. DataTrek's Nicholas Colas notes that despite having the highest exposure to international trade, at 58%, tech been the best returning sector. What gives? Colas points to the fact that U.S. tech companies, aside from Apple (AAPL), have little exposure to China, and even Apple has mitigating factors."By virtue of China’s home grown tech giants (Tencent, Alibaba (BABA), Baidu (BIDU)) and the US’s own leaders (Apple, Alphabet (GOOGL), Facebook ( FB), etc), there is little overlap between the two countries and that’s proving to be a powerful positive for US large cap Tech stocks," he explains.
