DataTrek: “Retail investors return to Wall Street”

Excerpt from the Financial Times quoting DataTrek’s Nick Colas:

…. ” Some observers said that the return of retail money to mutual funds could be taken as a sign that the US stock market peaked last September.

“On the plus side, this cohort has more dry powder to put to work if it chooses,” said Nicholas Colas, co-founder of DataTrek. “Retail has a reputation for being the last investor class to jump into a bull market. All that points to potential further near-term gains, but a weather eye for any sign of volatility that spooks retail back into a more cautious outlook”….
